Joey Melinda Morgan was born, raised and currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona. For as long as she can remember, Joey has used some sort of visual art as a form of self-expression. She currently utilizes photography and professional digital skills to create a unique, artistic style.
Texture found in nature and the varied hues and random patterns created from patina finishes on copper are incorporated into her work. Images are digitally layered and manipulated to spark curiosity and take the viewer on a visual exploration of the final composition.
Traveling to places to capture unique textures found in nature is now part of her fervent journey as an artist. Joey’s work can be found in commercial buildings, upscale residential settings and in private collections.
